I finally finished Brandy's afghan yesterday. And just in time- her last day is Friday. I don't think I should be saying this, but it is no where near perfect. The stupid yarn says "No dye lot" and it is all "Soft Pink 7706" but some of it is a brighter pink than the others. And of course I didn't notice until I was on my third skein, and by then I wasn't going to rip it out and use all of the same color. But it is not too noticeable I guess. You just have to be in the right light and actually looking for it. I'm sure Brandy won't notice. And I will try and not tell her. :P
Well, here are the pretty pics.
And now I can take a break from blankets. I think I am going to make little heart pins for everyone at Michaels now. That is easy enough and won't take aways from my school work.

The eagle is ready to soar
I finally finished the eagle blanket yesterday. I had finished the design a week or so ago, but the blanket was not long enough, so I had to add more rows. But is is now long enough. I decided not to do a border around it, just because I am lazy and it looks fine without one. I just need to work in some ends a little bit better now.
And now I am working on another afghan. (arg!) My store manager is leaving and she asked if I would make her a afghan as her going away present. Of course I couldn't say no; she has been my manager for over 4 years now. But I have to make sure I finish it in time. I just started on it, and with school starting next week, I am not sure if I will have enough time. I guess I will need to find the time. And I will be carrying the afghan around with me everywhere.
Well, that is all for now. I will go back to crocheting afghans!

Happy New Year
Sorry, it has been awhile since I have updated this thing. I was hoping I would have more time when school got out, but then I ended up working too much. I haven't even been able to crochet as much as I'd like to. I was hoping to crochet everyone's Christmas presents, but yeah...that didn't really work out. I think I only really crocheted one, and I didn't get it to him until after Christmas. I think I finished it Christmas day. And I am still working on my friend's baby blanket that I was hoping I would have finished a long time ago. Now that I have been working on it too long, I am starting to get bored. I am almost half way done I think. But I am slowly working on it.
ooh, and I finally got onto Ravelry. I am so excited. There is so much on there!
But I guess that is all I have to say for now. I'll try to get more than halfway on the blanket today. This is what it looks like as of last week (I havent done much since then).

Don't you wish your girlfriend could knit like me?
Hello blog world. I have been wanting to make a yarn blog for a while, but I just never got around to it. Well, I'm here now. And of course when I don't really crochet enough to really write about. I have been too busy with school, so I am just trying to do little projects that won't distract me too much from all my school work.
I actually just knitted a dishcloth a week or so ago, and of course I messed it up. I guess that's why I don't like to knit (I like to stick with crochet). So here is the messed up dishcloth.
It's supposed to be a M&M. I guess I skipped a row or something, because about halfway all the knits are purls and vice versa. I didn't notice until I was ready to bind of and I just wanted something to show for all my time so I didn't rip it out. I guess I will try to make another one eventually.
And my mom just finished a crocheted ladder scarf that I forced her to make. She actually varied a pattern that I had found on the Internet. It was knitted but I said how easier it would be to crochet it, so she did that instead. It looks just the same to me. And it was a lot faster. Here is that one.
I guess this is enough for my first post. I'd love to hear from any knit or crochet friends!
